Anyone that knows me even a little will know that I am really a slave to Nikon products. What’s new in the world of Sewwy? Well, I just got back from the gym. I was there for about an hour. I’m finding that my endurance levels are increasing, which is a great thing: I can run for a little bit longer than I used to without getting out of breath (I can run for almost 5 minutes now, which is a huge improvement. I’ve never been much of a runner, because I get short of breath very quickly, even when I was little. It’s possibly a slight asthma.) and I can walk for much longer without feeling tired. I’m able to use heavier weights, do more situps… I’m feeling fitter, and I suppose that’s the important thing.

My exams are looming ever closer too. My first one is on Tuesday, so I’ve got a few days to go before hand but boy am I getting nervous. I still have a lot of work to do for my later exams, so I suppose I better get cracking ;)

With the economy going downhill the rate it has been going lately, money is going to start getting a lot tighter and I’d imagine that most people will start feeling the strain of day-to-day transactions. Even grocery prices have skyrocketed lately: It’s over $5.00 for a two litre bottle of milk here now. My average weekly grocery bill is well over $150.00, which is insane, considering I’m barely buying food for two people.

So, I went to the doctors today. I’ve been a bit worried about my physical health lately. I came off the pill in June and still haven’t had a bleed. I’m quite concerned that there’s something wrong. I had a blood test, so hopefully that helps explain why my body’s struggling so bad to be normal.

The doctor was so freaking useless. She barely said anything the entire time other than explaining how ovaries work. Which was just redundant, because, fuck, I study biology. Reproduction was one of the first bloody things I learnt.

I’m in quite a sour mood right now. I’m just feeling so down about all of this, and it hasn’t helped that the Doctor offered absolutely no help whatsoever. She just seemed to think that my cycles were still irregular, like they were before I went on the pill… Which seems strange to me because fuck, aren’t your periods supposed to even out by the time you’re done with puberty?

I really hope there’s nothing wrong. I’ve been reading up on the symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and the scary thing is that I can tick off a lot of the symptoms… And that’s the last thing that I want.
