And now the thing won’t even start up.
Kidding. Seriously though, I’ve spent more time talking to tech support this week than I have James or my parents. My brand new apple iMac is still playing up, having issues staying connected to the internet via the wireless internet connection. I called tech support a week ago and thought the problem was solved, but it has started up again. An hour on the phone last night, and an hour this afternoon still didn’t solve the problem - I have to call tech support back tomorrow to be walked through a MacOS reformat and harddrive scan. If the problem doesn’t fix itself after the reformat, it’s likey to be a hardware malfunction.
So disappointing! A two week old, $2000 product shouldn’t be fucking me around… *sighs*

If it is something with the hardware, they have to deliver you a new one:-) Hope you got the problem solved and everything working again.

I would be insanely pissed! Here’s hoping the problem is minor and doesn’t put you out of a computer for long. Good luck - lots of it!

DUDE, that sucks so bad!!!! I would be screaming at whoever I bought it from (er, whatever store I suppose) and telling them to get their asses over here and FIX IT. I hate tech support. They almost always jerk you off before addressing and fixing your problems. grr

Having to rely on computer support sucks. I really hope everything gets working properly soon! That is irritating.
