Nine hours and thirteen minutes. That’s how long it took me to close the gap which was opened almost 10 years ago when I first started reading Harry Potter.
It’s over. I don’t know what to say. I’m at a loss for words, and I’m feeling particularly empty. There’s no more what-ifs, no more theories, no more heated discussions about why something has to happen.
I’ll talk about this some more in my next blog. I might go wallow in my feelings for a while now.

You know, that pretty much sums up the way I feel. My goodness, it’s strange isn’t it?

But think of all the new ships that will pop up now after the epilogue…

I’m only 1/3 way through, but I was there for the 9:01am launch (I got a free hat, too). Already I’m stunned at the storyline.
I can’t wait to finish reading it so I can talk to people about it.

Yes, after following the books for so long it feels odd to think that there will be no more anticipation built up over a new book, no more unanswered questions to mull over.
I was actually disappointed with how the events played out in the book and its conclusion. It seemed like a let down, although I did enjoy it, I just felt it slammed together a bit too much for my liking.

At the present moment I’m going through something called, “denial”. I realise it’s the last book but at the same time it hasn’t really hit me yet. Instead I’ve been making icons, discussing what’s happened, and generally shut myself off.
It’ll catch up with me soon… It’s weird but there’s almost this empty feeling that I have towards it all. I don’t have any idea what I’m meant to do with my time now!

Did you like the book? I’m not really into HP myself, so I’m not gonna read it myself, but I might rent the new film on DVD when it’s out. :) I hope you enjoyed reading it.

There’s just NO WAY that this could possibly be the last we hear from JK Rowling! Dont’ worry - I’m sure there’ll be something new and just as fabulous for us all to drool over!

Now this blog is sad, you need a life sweetheart. I’m not trying to be rude, but it’s too many people who think HP is the end of the world. IT’S NOT!!! Get it on dvd and move on w/ the rest of your life!!! You sound like your best friend just died or something. HARRY POTTER IS NOT REAL!!!

Wow… 9 hours! I’m sorry, but all good things have to come to end. Just think what good thing is going to happen next. A new HP movie? A new book series to drool over? The opportunities are endless! ;)

You know, that’s exactly how I felt after I read the book. It’s like… uh, what am I going to jump online to be excited about now? I’m sure a new fandom will hit me square in the face soon (I’m thinking the new series of Torchwood will get me going lol!)
I feel a bit disappointed in the book though…
