I’ve had the flu since Monday. It’s not nice.
I just thought I’d blog to let you know that I haven’t fallen off the planet and died. I’m just sick. :(
Oh, and I’m over the shock of the last book and back to my regular non-emo self. :D
Nine hours and thirteen minutes. That’s how long it took me to close the gap which was opened almost 10 years ago when I first started reading Harry Potter.
It’s over. I don’t know what to say. I’m at a loss for words, and I’m feeling particularly empty. There’s no more what-ifs, no more theories, no more heated discussions about why something has to happen.
I’ll talk about this some more in my next blog. I might go wallow in my feelings for a while now.
The weather sucks ass today. How fitting for the first day back at uni, for which I have to trudge back and forward from my apartment to THREE TIMES every day this week. Fuck. I hope it stops raining.
Five days. I’m nearly pissing myself in excitement.
Yeah, this was pointless.
I arrived back in Auckland on Saturday night :) I had a really nice time in Sydney, visting my parents, relatives and friends! The first thursday I was in Sydney, I went down to Vincentia with my mum to visit my nana and cousins. We had some seriously awsome chinese food the first night, which was delicious. Friday night, mum, nana and I went to the RSL for dinner - we had a really tasty lobster mornay, which was surprisingly cheap! Saturday afternoon we went to Husky pub and feasted on a nice seafood basket. I love it down the coast - the food is fantastic. ♥ !
Mum and I went back up to Sydney on Sunday, and we went out to dinner (AGAIN!) to celebrate my brother’s birthday, which was the following Tuesday. We went to a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Manly with some family friends, ate too much and drank too much (Well.. us that were legal, anyway). Seriously, those four days - BEST.FOOD.EVER.
I spent the rest of the week relaxing, spending too much money on my brother, and spending time with friends - the most memorable would be Wednesday night, where Rachel, Felicity and I got on the piss at the Greengate Hotel, “watched” the state of Origin, almost won at trivia, and proceeded to have a really random conversation with some guy called Elwood. Good times.
In other news, I’m ridiculously excited about this month. Why? Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Simpsons Movie, Knocked Up, new Uni classes! :D New Computer, which I will be purchassing soon! Such an awesome month. July deserves a medal. Or sex. Or something. ;D
In other OTHER news, I started vexelling again! :) I won’t say what for, but It’ll be good when I’m done.
Kay. Going to watch the Simpsons. ;D
Edit: Oh, did I mention I got the cartilage of my right ear pierced? :D
