It never ceases to amaze me how quickly that rain starts and stops here in Auckland. A minute ago, I kid you not, there was blue sky outside my windows. Right now, it’s positively bucketting down, eerilly dark and grey. Chances are, the rain will stop in about five minutes. This weather makes me sad, really. I was looking foward to going and taking some pictures today.
On another note, my house is all lovely and clean! Everything is spotless; I did about four loads of laundry yesterday, changed the bedsheets, vaccuumed, mopped…! All I need to do now is get a mop and a window cleaner for the balcony, and everything will be nice and sexy.
Oh, look at that. The rain stopped.

It’s usually soupy for two or three days here before it pours. Spontaneous rain must be fun.
It’s so nice when your house is spotless, isn’t it? My whole house can never be, because parents are messy creatures. I clean a desk up, and ten minutes later they’ve piled remotes and dirty plates up on it.

I’ve always wanted to go to Auckland. I never knew it rained so much over there though, hehe. I’d be a bit worried about my laundry because we don’t have a dryer.
I guess the rain is good for getting things done around the house though. There’s always so much to be done, and rainy days force us to spend a little more time at home.
