In the wars

It seems that i’ve taken a vendetta out against myself and am trying to do damage to my body without giving it a second thought. The vommiting and headaches are gone, but I slept terribly on Saturday night, waking up with a mild backache which got progressively worse throughout the day. By the time I had to go down to work, I could barely bend over or move vigorously without getting searing pain on the lower left side of my back. It’s milodly better today, but sitting up all day in a not-so-comfortable chair to do study wasn’t the best thing I could have done for it.

Anyway, an hour before closing last night at work, I was cleaning the coffee machine as best I could - my manager wasn’t in, and nobody else had used a coffee machine before (I had used the machine a few days before for the very first time) and I must have done something wrong, because I burnt between my ring and middle fingers quite badly. I was nursing my hand with a damp, cold cloth until I fell asleep, and woke up holding it. It’s alright now, just a little bit tender. I was worried I’d have to go to the doctor with it - it seemed like it would blister, but luckilly the swelling subsided.

Oh, and when I got home I stubbed my toe.

I’m such a moron.

My first exam is on Saturday. Thankfully I don’t have so much work for it as I first thought - It’s just on two topics, and i’m almost halfway through my readings for the first topic. I’ll finish the chapter before bed tonight and get started on the rest tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be finished with Evolution by the end of tomorrow and on to Biochemistry by Wednesday. Wish me luck! I’m quite concerned about my Law in Society and Computer Science exams. I don’t think I’m going to do too well in them - I havent done any of my Law readings this semester and Computer Science well… It’s difficult. I don’t really care if I fail them, though - I’m just testing them out.

Going to get myself a bowl of cereal for desert and finish watching 50 First Dates (for like.. the 100th time. It’s such a good movie!)

Ah, I can relate to the backache woes. I just recently bought myself a really good but expensive office chair. An Aeron Herman Miller chair for about $900 Canadian. I know, crazy, but I really love that chair. I spend a good portion of my day (at home, self-employed) sitting in front of a computer testing software… so I might as well invest in good posture and chair.

… feel better soon. :)

Oh I have had sick days like that.. let me tell you… UGH.

The wishlist suggestion was a GREAT idea.. mostly for sending to our grandparents and stuff who are likely dying to send us a few things, heh.

I was so paranoid to miscarry again this time.. when they couldn’t locate the baby’s heartbeat with the doppler, I panicked and started crying, but then they did an actual ultrasound and found a strong heartbeat and the baby, of course. I’m just so nervous, heh.
