Mmm… Mid Semester Break. It’s so great to not worry about getting up in the morning. It’s so good to have time to myself and time to study at the same time! Although, I only have a week left, but still, It’s been great. I’ve been working quite a bit lately as well. I’ve earned about 300 dollars in the past few weeks! I have a heap of fun too - the other staff are really nice and quite entertaining. I have my first shift by myself on Saturday, so wish me luck!

Speaking of money, I spent my first lot of work money on an iPod. I’ve been contemplating getting one for quite a while now as my old mp3 has been slowly giving up the ghost. I gave in to temptation and went and bought one. It’s nice and shiny and the quality is surprisingly good. The only disappointment has been the earphones: I have really small ears and the headphones don’t fit well. I have a good pair of clip on headphones which i’ve been using and i’ve also purchased some earbud covers for my ipod which will hopefully solve the problem of the earphones not fitting well.

I finally got around to taking my prints that my dad bought me in Hawaii to get framed. I’ll have some lovely artwork hanging up in my apartment soon! I’m also thinking of taking some of my photography and getting it framed too, but we’ll see. I’m really looking forward to decorating my apartment so it reflects me, but it may take a while until I get a decent chance to do so.

Today one of James’s cows gave birth! Freaking crazy stuff, but the calf is so cute and small. It was standing a couple of hours after it was born. :) I’ll try and take some photos next time i’m at his house (I don’t have a camera on me right now.)

Time for me to go sit on my ass and watch television! :D
