Tuesday was my very last “first day of school” that I will ever have. My goodness :o It was shocking, but such a good feeling at the same time to know that I will never have to go back to highschool after November! It was a sad thought though, because in ten weeks time, I will be saying goodbye to more than 90% of people in my grade and will most likely never see them again. This term is going to be bittersweet, full of goodbyes and farewells from both us and the rest of the school.

Honestly though, “Last-Last term” syndrome asside, I’ve been back for three days and I am bogged down so badly. I have a month to finish my majorwork (the thought is scaring me) and I have my trial HSC exams in a week and a half. Three weeks of holiday was really, really, not enough time. I will be SO happy when it’s all over.

My cold is relatively gone now. I was really sick for about a week, and am still a little stuffed up. I’m very lucky that I got sick during the holidays rather than during the school term, because I hate being sick at school and/or missing school when I know how much I will have to catch up.

Well, I reached my 10,000th visitor! Congratulations to Sara, who will also get a permanent plug on my exits page. :)

i was totally rubbish at that. i had to quit my first year of college because i just couldn’t cope.

Senior year is always the best year though. It is full of goodbyes, but just think of all the new people you will meet in college. There are times when I miss high school, but I’m glad it’s over with.

I love the feeling on last days and first days of schools.Well, I don’t always love it.I always have mixed feelings on days like that.

Pfft….sad schmad. I can’t wait. Oh sure i will cry at all the valedictory functions but personally, i can’t wait to get out of here…*devil*

Good luck with the rest of your term! I hope everything goes well. =) I’ll be a senior this September and I’ll be graduating next June. I think it’s going to be pretty tough also because I won’t be able to see my good friends. But things will work out for both you and me. We’ll still enjoy life. ^-^ Anywho. I hope you’re feeling much better and that your cold is gone. I don’t like getting sick during school either. It’s hard to pay attention during class and if I’m home I don’t like making up work. =/ But anyways. Hope you’re okay. Take care! *heart*

I can understand how it would be sad, having your “last first day”.. all the people youve known forever won’t be a part of your daily life anymore. Its funny to realize even people you don’t LOVE in highschool, are STILL a major major part of your life, you spend 5/7 days of the week with them, in class, learning…

I didn’t realise you were Australian until I read ‘HSC’ xD And I never thought of it as a last first day, seems worth celebrating! Even though it is kinda sad.

I would have mized feelings too. I would be happy to leave yet also sad. All well what can we do? This is life, nothing lasts forever.
