Layouts and Long Jump

Yes! Sewwy.com has a brand, spanking new layout! I went for a really simple structure this time, but it was a bitch to code. Blaah. It’s all finished now. The links to the subpages can be found at the top right hand corner, above “Sewwy” - The content has been updated too. Hooray!

Today, mum decided to let me stay home from school: It’s the athletics carnival today, and well, there’s two things I hate about athletics carnivals: 1. Athletics, and 2 the cold, freezing wind that always blows through this time of year. Mum decided that it’d be better letting me stay home, rather than letting my cold get ten times worse from sitting in the cold all day. I suppose it was a good thing in the end, because I’ll be able to work on my major work vexels, and I’ve just coded a brand new layout for Sewwy.com. Hurrah! I suppose it was all good in the end for mum: On the proviso that I got to stay home, I have to take my brother to soccer training tonight. It could be worse right? I could have had to go to the athletics carnival… ;)

Speaking of the weather, it has been really cold this month. We got our coldest temperatures for May since pre-1990, I believe. It really was disgusting. Of course, I prefer the cold to the hot (It’s much much easier to warm up than it is to cool down. I could give you biological proof, but you’d probably want to jump off a cliff by the time i’d finish. ;)) but it’s not exactly easy keeping warm in our uniforms for school. Hopefully we’ll get our year 12 jerseys soon so I’ll have an extra layer to wear.

Anyway, enjoy the new layout :) Hopefully I’ll find time to blog within the next week: James is visiting tomorrow, and on top of that I have homework and assessments. Comments will eventually be returned!

So instead of coming to the athletics carnival like the rest of us school spirited people, you decided to sit at home and make a new layout for this website…hardly what i’d call massively productive…
Also I don’t care what Mrs Hallett says about being able to warm up easily…I HATE THE COLD
Sorry for wasting my comment to just have a bitch…im just in a shit mood *cry*

I have to say It’s an… intersting layout you got here. I especially like the way “Sewwy” looks like a corporate logo of sort. But… I’m not fond of the way the links buttons are “hidden” above the Sewwy logo. And the whole feel seems a bit… “is that it?”

… I don’t like the new layout. *guilty*

Aww I like the new layout! I like the fact that it’s simple while still being pretty. :) You picked really good colors to go together!

Ughh you’re so lucky. It’s been so hot here lately! I hate it. I wish it would be windy and rainy again actually. Lol.

I love the layout. It’s beautiful. The colours go very nicely together.

I remember having those athletic carnivals in grade school, only we did it during the summer. I absolutly despised them. But, I think I’d rather put up with the freezing cold than the heat we’re getting here.

I really like the new layout. It’s nice and simple. (:

I wouldn’t enjoy an athletics carnival. Especially if it’s cold. Hahah. That’s a good thing you got to stay home. I wish my parents would let me stay home for no reason.

The weather has been weird everywhere. It’s an interesting thing to research. (:

I love the layout. Simple, yet fun at the same time. ^_^

I agree with you about the cold. It’s much easier to warm up than to cool down in the summer.
