I am so happy that the weekend has finally arrived. Yes, it will be comprised of 60% homework, 35% sleep and 5% other, but hell, it’s the weekend, and I don’t have to have my ass hauled out of bed at 6.30, nor do I have to worry about what work I have not completed that happens to be due the next period. I’m looking foward to sleeping in, but knowing my luck, i’ll be awake at sparrow’s fart.
Tonight my parents went to a year 12 parents function held by some of the year 12 mums. Needless to say, after an hour, my dad dragged my mother home (who was, of course, drunk, due to drinking all day continuously) due to the fact that she couldn’t even stand up without staggering.
Yay. It’s bad enough that people think i’m a retard. She’s always fucking embarassing me, and that topped the cake. Goddamnit, when will she learn?
In better news, my sunburn is clearing up nicely. I am worried that it’s going to scar though, because there are some particularly nasty scabs or blisters under the skin… im not sure what they are but they are kind of painful and look like they’re not going to heal too nicely.
Oh well.
