They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. But I doubt it. I really doubt it.

*cd*: Fast Times in Tahoe, Elemeno P

Today has been such an awesome day! Really. Everything has gone my way (which is kind of worrying, considering it doesnt normally happen so easilly.) The IT staff at school were understanding about my need to use my own tablet at school, and willingly allowed it to be installed, Mrs Hallet was accepting of the fact that i’d lost A forest a booklet we were given a week before, and gave me another one, we had our year 12 muck up photo, which was fun and well, the school day went past without a glitch!

What really made my day were two fantastic things:

1. I now know how I want to present my vexels when i submit them for HSC marking. At least two of the vexels will be submitted as a movie. each frame of the movie will have a layer of the vexel added to it, so the movie is just creating layer after layer of the vexel, showing the markers exactly how I created it. I’m very happy with this, because I was shit scared that they’d be like “Wtf, this is just a filter, this deserves a crap mark” - The movie will show them that it isnt a filter, and show them the process in which the work is created.

2. I’m going to New Zealand! - I am SO Happy! I was so worried Dad wasn’t going to let me, mainly because I have exams second week back after the holidays. I doubt i’ll be able to see him in the July holidays, as my trials are first week back (and will need to study lots for them) but i’m glad I get at least one visit :)

Speaking of New Zealand, apparently James’s parents are more than happy to have me living there with them next year. This is a big relief, because both James and I had been planning this, but we weren’t sure on his parents’ reaction. I’m glad they’re happy with it though. :)

Hey Sarah!!!

You are loved, definitely :P It’s very exciting that ur going to NZ, and u *should* take some work, seeing as exams are soon after… but as u said today, it’s not like u will do any of it, so why bother? I find that if I take books, the guilt is likely to motivate me. this = good thing, seeing as i procrastinate waaaayyy too much. Like now for example when i should be catching up on the two weeks of maths i don’t understand.

Anyway, have fun bludging tomorrow when u should be at the swimming carnival… *bang* Why oh why did i sign up for races? oh that’s right… house spirit!!! GO PRESTON!!! woohoo!

Anyhow… enough procrastinating and spamming ur site with useless comments!

Luv flick

I really liked the idea of the vexel-movie, I used this vexel (that I made) for my art project, and alot of my friends thought I copied and pasted it from the net :|

*bang*
