They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder. But I doubt it. I really doubt it.

*cd*: Fast Times in Tahoe, Elemeno P

Today has been such an awesome day! Really. Everything has gone my way (which is kind of worrying, considering it doesnt normally happen so easilly.) The IT staff at school were understanding about my need to use my own tablet at school, and willingly allowed it to be installed, Mrs Hallet was accepting of the fact that i’d lost A forest a booklet we were given a week before, and gave me another one, we had our year 12 muck up photo, which was fun and well, the school day went past without a glitch!

What really made my day were two fantastic things:

1. I now know how I want to present my vexels when i submit them for HSC marking. At least two of the vexels will be submitted as a movie. each frame of the movie will have a layer of the vexel added to it, so the movie is just creating layer after layer of the vexel, showing the markers exactly how I created it. I’m very happy with this, because I was shit scared that they’d be like “Wtf, this is just a filter, this deserves a crap mark” - The movie will show them that it isnt a filter, and show them the process in which the work is created.

2. I’m going to New Zealand! - I am SO Happy! I was so worried Dad wasn’t going to let me, mainly because I have exams second week back after the holidays. I doubt i’ll be able to see him in the July holidays, as my trials are first week back (and will need to study lots for them) but i’m glad I get at least one visit :)

Speaking of New Zealand, apparently James’s parents are more than happy to have me living there with them next year. This is a big relief, because both James and I had been planning this, but we weren’t sure on his parents’ reaction. I’m glad they’re happy with it though. :)

Long time, no blog.

No, i’m not dead, just incredibly busy! :O So much has happened since house Music/Drama.. it’s insane!

School is full on. Really really full on. Work, assessments, assignments.. Blah! They won’t stop talking about the HSC at all!

We went on camp on Wednesday. It was great! It was more of a retreat: Very relaxing, lots of time mucking around with friends. It was a wonderful escape from the stress of school, but unfortunately, it all starts again on Monday.

We got up to so much mischief at camp! Our cabin was so insane, it was not funny. We would slap eachother’s arses, and claim we’d just gone to second base, we created a massive “Yr. 12 ‘06″ sign out of our bodies and, of course, who can forget, the male teachers dressing in Drag our school uniform. I’ll have pictures soon. :)

Tonight I went out to dinner with a few friends. We went to a pizza place where they let you draw on the tables. We went crazy! I have a few photos which I will also post in next blog. :) The food was excellent. Four pizzas, two entres and five deserts later (between us all, we’re not that piggish) i’m completely stuffed. We went back to Kaycie’s place, and Kaycie and I had a car-off with our cars. Kaycie couldn’t figure out how to revv her car (bloody learner drivers… ;)) so I so won that competition. James thinks we should have a honk-off. Kaycie would win that one. Mine is like a high pitched squeak. *hyper* I too have photos to share of this - very funny. we all (eight of us) packed into my car. Lauren had to go in the boot. Veeery funny! :)

Lastly, i’m sorry for not blogging for so long. I really have missed it. :)

:(

Chisholm lost the house music/drama festival.

I am honestly happy for the winners. Cuthbert deserved to win the ‘overall’ because their play was awesome. Preston deserved to win the program, because chloe’s art was awesome, but i’m sorry, Cuthbert’s poster was well.. Not deserving of a win

Im really sorry, but i can’t understand how it won.

Sure, i’m biased because i spent fucking days on our poster work, but really, even then, Preston should have won it.

*is not very happy right now*
yeah, i’m a sore loser. So kill me.

GAH FUCKITY GAH.

Honest to God, the mathematics department at my school must be smoking crack or something.

Answer me this: why the HELL does the TOP general maths class have the worst maths teacher in the entire SCHOOL!? It beats the hell out of me, especially when we were told we were going to get a DECENT teacher.

Guess where that teacher is?
Teaching a parallel class who USED to have the teacher that I now have.

I’m so annoyed. I am estemating that i’m going to do considerably worse than last year, just because of the lack of “being taught” that will happen this year. :(

I love maths!!!1!11!

I love the maths department. *headache*
