Mood: Sleepy

In less than a week I start my first day as an “official” year twelve. It’s kind of scary. We’re the biggest in the school, we’re going to be looked up to by the little kids, apreciated (or not apreciated) by the not-so little kids and have a whoooole heap of stuff to do. In three weeks time is our House Music Drama festival, which the year twelves run: It’s nowhere near ready. We’ll be given assessments pretty much first week back and, let me tell you, thats not a very exciting thought. Nevertheless, i’m really excited: I’ll be seeing my friends again, having fun (and messing about, even though that’s a really bad idea, in classes) and the best part of all?
YEAR TWELVE COMMONROOM - Seriously. We get everything. We have a radio, we have a fridge, we have boiling water, a microwave, a sink, stuff to store food. A whiteboard. I’ll be living off cuppa soups, fantastic noodles and vanilla lattes ALL YEAR baby! Woot.
In other news, i’m currently sporting a new haircut!

Its not looking so flash at the moment: I’ve just had a shower adn given it a crappy blow dry job. I think i’m going to have to use my hair straightener on the fringe, because it just looks damned retarded. I’m happy though, i’ve been meaning to have my fringe cut for a while now. The next step will be having my hair grow out a little further and having it styled, because it’s rather boring at the moment. :p
And I leave you with this: *heart*
Ps: Join Demise!! There’s cookies!
I just found out that one of my favourite songs, “Closing Time” which I thought was a Green Day song is in fact NOT greenday, it’s Semsisonic.
My heart is broken. :(
Stupid limewire.
Today, Friday, January 13th, 2006, is James and I’s two year anniversary.
TWO YEARS!! It seriously feels like just yesterday we first hooked up, just yesterday that we met for the first time… Awww I’m so happy and proud of us!
We went shopping this afternoon to look for aniversary presents. I bought James a silver chain to replace the chain i’d given him two years ago, which broke the other day. James bought me a watch, and it’s so nice! It’s not chunky or anything, and I can barely feel it there, which is awesome, because I hate feeling things on my wrists. I’m also taking james out to Gourmet Pizza Kitchen For dinner. Their pizzas are sooo yummy! I can’t wait!
On Sunday we’re going down to my family’s beach house with my mum, my brother and his best mate, and we’re staying until Friday. :) I should be able to blog next Friday, when I get back :p
The weirdest thing just happened to me.
The phone rang, my mum answered it. She called out for me to pick up the phone, because it was for me (well, obviously.) I picked up and …
It was a friend from primary school who I havent seen in six years.
Weird. o_O; She was seriously the last person on earth I was expecting a phone call from!
It turns out that a friend of mine, Tori, is coming for a visit from Canada for a week, so this girl is organising for our old primary school group to get together and say hello to her. my god, it’s creepilly weird. o_O;
I’m kinda scared, because I haven’t seen any of these girls for a long time. We’ve bound to have changed.. It’ll be very awkward… :O
I’m back from Vincentia, with over 400 photos of my cousin and the beaches, ready for vexelling for my HSC major work. :) I’m really quite excited! I’m rather sunburnt though, and I have a nasty stomach bug, but that’s life. :P Unfortunately, I won’t be uploading too many photos from the shoot, mainly because I don’t think my cousin would like that, but I will share some of the more scenic photos at a later date.
Demise is going well! We have 21 members, and all of them are nice and active! I encourage you to join - We’re fun, and we dont bite: Promise! *whip*
I got a new monitor today! Well, not really. It’s actually my mother’s monitor, but because I kept complaining about the scanlines on my old CRT, dad told me to swap mine with her new LCD monitor. It’s wonderful! I can look at my screen without wincing because of all the scanlines!
As of lately, there have been quite a few people online who have just started to frustrate the hell out of me. They’re incredibly defensive, and if anyone so much as THINKS something slightly negative towards them, these people are bitching and complaining faster than you can say “broomstick.” Telling them to calm down just seems to ignite them further. Ugh. Give me a broomstick and i’ll hit them over the head hapilly with it.
