Weeell, not really! My parent’s are out for the weekend, and my brother is staying at a friend’s place, so I have the house all to myself! Hopefully I don’t let the silence go to my head, because I really need to get to work on my catchup work, homework and assignments, otherwise I am screwed for not only next week when they are all due, let alone my exams in two weeks! Hopefully I can make the most of the quiet and get that done :)

It’s my birthday in a week and a day! :D James is arriving next Saturday! the family is going out for my birthday, which is nice :) My nana and my cousin, Georgia are also joining us for that, which will be nice. Mum said she’d bake me a cheesecake. mmm :D

I’m so sorry for the shortness of this blog. Nothing too interesting is happening at the moment. I’ll definetely blog next Saturday! :)

What’s new in the world of Sewwy? Not much, really. My 17th birthday is in 18 days, encounting, and i’m looking forward to it not because i’m seventeen finally, but because I get to see my boy again :D I’m not getting any presents from my family this year, as my last trip to New Zealand was an early birthday present. James is getting me a fair bit though :O I feel way too spoiled. Due to my iPod both running out of space and its battery life fading, James is buying me a 20GB Creative Zen Touch, as well as a Belkin Tunecast to replace my iTrip. Ontop of this, James is replacing quite a few parts in my computer: Pretty much everything really! He’s bringing over his old motherboard, processor, RAM and harddrive to replace my 6 year old piece of junk. I’m very greatful for this, but so is he! Not only does he get my old iPod and iTrip to use, but he gets to watch me on high speed webcam more often: Now I won’t have an excuse to not go on webcam when I want another program running! teheh.

So what’s so predictable? (Re: post title) - Well, I’m sick, again. Seem’s i’ve contracted Gastroenteritis, which is a stomach bug. I had to come home early on Monday, and have been home since. Doesn’t look like i’ll be going until Friday at least: I almost threw up twice today, and if I feel like this tomorrow, i’m probably not going to leave my room except for the necessities. So far i’ve missed the due-date of one assessment, and will miss an in-class tomorrow. Uhoh. I also have to go back to the doctors if i’m home tomorrow to pick up another doctor’s cirtificate. The doctor only wrote on the original that I should be off school until the 10th - School won’t be happy with a Cirtificate that says I should be okay on the 10th, and yet miss an assessment on the 11th.

I’m off to bed now. Before I go, everyone go and wish Echo a lovely welcome back to the internet world. :)

True Story. A religion teacher assigned her class an essay on what makes a good Christian. One student wrote about praying nightly, say no to abortion, banning gay marriage, and donating money. The other student wrote about talking to God and allowing people to enjoy their lives, and supporting gay marriage. The day the teacher was to hand the papers back, she called up the second student and told him she would pray for him when he went to hell. The student asked why would he be going to hell, and why he got an F on his paper. The teacher told him that Catholisim is against gay marriage. The student looked at her for a minute, then said aloud, “I’m gay.” The teacher kicked him out of class as if he had said fuck or worshiped Satan. A girl in the back of class who had a boyfriend and was obviously straight got up and left too.

If you would leave the classroom, repost this. It doesn’t matter if you’re straight, bi, or gay. It doesn’t matter if you’re catholic or not. Everyone is a human being and deserves happiness.
