My laptop was sent off again and returned. I have a new motherboard, so hopefully the wireless will stop dropping out. If it drops out again, i’ll have to have it sent back AGAIN so i can have a new wireless card aswell: Basically, they werent sure whether it was just the motherboard, or the motherboard and the fact it was burning out the network card. go figure. Nevertheless its back and i’m happy.

School has been insane lately. I’m really stressed out and finding myself miserable. I just want to sleep. I had two assessments this week: IPT and Maths. Tomorrow my art assessment is due, which I just finished and on Monday I have to hand in the second stage of my business assessment, which I havent even attempted to start. On monday I also have a topic test for Business study, have to hand in my topic notes for business studies. On monday I also have two english extended responses to hand in and on Tuesday I have a biology quiz on the topic we just finished. Ontop of all this, my teachers expect me to have a life. Hmm, not happening.

Speaking of my IPT assessment, it was two parts: one theory, and one a spreadsheet practical. I studied so hard for every part of it, knowing everything i needed to know about the spreadsheet practical (apart from an if statement. I had the right idea, it just didn’t want to work :() Half of the class didn’t finish the practical, and are likely to fail the theory, so my teacher decided to can the practical completely. Everybody in the class except myself and my friend, Kaycie, were happy about it. Honest to god, if you’re not willing to put in the time to study for something and learn the material, why are you in the class!? Ontop of the fact that they can’t be bothered studying and learning the material, they are constantly talking in class, mucking up in class. I have nine people in my class and only 1/3 of the class listens. Kaycie, Lauren and I are genuinely interested in the class. My teacher spends 90% of the lesson trying to get the other 2/3’s to listen, and 10% of the time attempting to teach. Kaycie and Lauren end up mucking around too because nothing is being taught, and I end up sitting there frustrated at hell at the amount of people I get asking me whether I can “give them IPT tutoring.”

Next time someone asks me for tutoring, I’ll say yes.

If they pay me $200 an hour, and buy me a Ferrari, that is. *hmm*

James came over Easter, and we had a great time :) We ate lots of chocolate and played lots of counterstrike! Awesome fun. James also bought me two shirts from qc.net which i will take photos of and post tomorrow. For now, i’m freezing and going to have a bath.

My laptop came back from the shop the other day: The bugger worked for an hour, and then the wireless died on me again. I screamed. and then the mouse played up again. i screamed again. I spent about half an hour on the phone to the guy who fixed it who then stated that he thinks the motherboard is murdering the new wireless card, as well as the touchpad stuff. He said that he’d order me a new motherboard as well as another new wireless card (because the new one he replaced is being murdered slowly.)

All I can really say to that is “WOOHOO.” despite the fact my wireless is continuously dropping out and the fact it cant be fixed until parts have arrived,

that’s awesome. Especially when the laptop’s warranty runs out in about a month. This is probably the best thing that could happen to my laptop before the warranty also gets murdered. *dances with glee*

The ironic thing is that when my laptop is plugged into the ethernet cable, my wireless enjoys to work and poke its tongue out at me.

When i disconnect the ethernet cable, the wireless is bound to die within minutes.

Enough about my laptop, more about me. ,*so not vain or anything* I feel so proud of myself. I’m trying to lose weight, which I will record every now and again when blogging, but i’ve told myself that once a day i’ll do fifteen minutes on the exercise bike, more if possible, and ten situps - more if possible. I’m trying to lose my tummy and excess fat. I didn’t do my situps today, mainly because i was feeling drained when I pushed myself a bit too far on the exersise bike, but tomorrow morning I might be going to the Gym with my dad if he can get me a guest pass. I’m also trying to eat healthier, which is difficult when my canteen sells crap and all we have in our cupboards/fridge is crap *giggle* but i’m doing the best I can and not having snacks apart from recess at school.

Will blog, hopefully, when my laptop is fixed, unless something insanely exciting occurs before hand.

So, I bet you’ve all been wondering where i’ve been? Probably not, but i’ll tell you anyway :D I promise you that I am alive, despite contrary belief. Needless to say, I’ve been busy, frustrated and mighty confused all in one. Well, where do I start?

Due to being sick, I have had so much homework and so much hassle trying to catch up on a week and a half’s work. I havent even been able to attempt this due to an excessive amount of homework piled up ontop of catchup work. The teachers keep going on about how we need to “obtain balance” with a social life and school life. All I can say is, “Social Life?” — I haven’t had one of those for years. ;) Regardless, they don’t make it too easy on us to have a social life (ahem, if we’ve ever had one, that is) with the abundance of homework they give us currently. In a whole, i’m spending about 16 hours a day doing some sort of school work - be it at school, or home.

Ontop of that, i’ve had many assignments and assessments i’ve had to study my little butt off for. I’m already screwed for my english one on monday. Especially when all my notes were on my laptop which convieniently died on me: The wireless completely conked out, so I had to send it to be fixed. I’m currently sitting on my mum’s PC as my PC blew up a month or so ago. needless to say, I’m not having the greatest luck with computers, laptops, or the like (especially concidering my pffty 49/60 on my IPT quiz, which I so could’ve atleast gotten 55 on. :P)

So with my Laptop and PC out of action, i’ve spent little time on the internet for the past week. Eh. I’m not missing it that much, but I am missing being able to just send a message or two to James whilst i’m doing my homework so I dont get completely bored out of my mind.

Speaking of James, James came for the weekend! We went and saw We Will Rock You which is the BEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN - I’m so sad that it’s closing this weekend because I would so have seen it twice. It was BRILLIANT! Queen is brilliant! AHH UTTER BRILLIANCE! — ahem. Apart from that, we went out for dinner, went shopping and tehehhee had fun :D

Ahh. A fairly uneventful past few days, really. I went to school on Monday after my doctors appointment, on tuesday I stayed home because I was too bloody tired because my ear kept me awake all night, on Wednesday I went to school and today I stayed home because I cant swim with a buggered ear (swimming carnival was today) And I had a ton of catchup to do aswell. Nana figured that if I stay home and do homework, it’s probably better than going to a swimming carnival that I wasnt swimming in and coming home complaining that I have a headache and dont want to go to school the following day. ;)

Wednesday was most amusing, I have to say. Chisholm had PE (swimming) which obviously I couldn’t do because of my ear. Chisholm was doing Water Aerobics with Cuthburt. Mrs Blessington was taking this class and GOD she makes me laugh. She was making them all do pelvic floor exersises, telling them that they’ll all hang out when they get old and have children if they dont do pelvic floor exersises. Mr Bates was close to pissing himself. Hah.

Today I stayed home and did homework. I played the sims a fair bit too. My game’s gone demented! My sims had twins: Lily and Lea. I saved the game as soon as they grew up to toddlers and exited out. I load up the game the next day and Lily is a toddler and can do things, but Lea went all screwwy, was floating outside the house and none of my sims could pick her up, and I couldnt make her do anything. She’s in Sim-limbo (Simbo. haha) or something - between a toddler and a baby. Thing is, the social worker wont take her either because the social worker cant pick her up, so the only alternative is to delete her when I start up the game every time :( and that’s sucky.

Oh well, my sims are getting older :D I’ll make them die. bwahaha. I’ve never actually had a sim die naturally in any sim game (be it one or two) - I’ve always killed them. It was really fun to kill them in the first game by locking them in a room with a fireplace and lots and lots of alcohol. The alcohol would catch fire and then wheeeeeeeee everyone would burn to death. ^_^

I want a meteor to fall on one of my sims heads so they can die that way. Tehehe.

James is arriving tomorrow! I’m not promising to take any photos, because whenever I promise that, I never do :P Hah. We’re going to see We Will Rock You (Whooooo:D) Which will rock me. James isnt the only one coming. Seriously, my parents go away and FREELOADERS arrive.
